Hungary probably has the most thermal and medicinal baths in the world. These natural springs have a history of over 2,000 years. In the area around our campsite, there are several delightful thermal baths. Some are more like large swimming pools, while others are perfect for relaxing and lounging. Below, we will highlight a few nearby options. 

This thermal bath is very special because it is built inside a cave, making it a truly unique experience. Inside the cave, there are various baths, all with an average temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Outside on the grounds, there are additional baths, including one for children and a lovely warm medicinal bath. You can also rent a sauna and buy snacks and drinks. They have thought of everything for a perfect day of relaxation.

This thermal bath is located near Miskolc and is about a 40-minute drive from our campsite. 

The thermal bath in Eger is one of the most beautiful and famous spa resorts in Hungary. The park bath, located on an area of 5 hectares, is a true paradise for those who want to relax, exercise, and have fun. The covered outdoor water adventure island features 13 pools, sports fields, a playground, and direct access to the Turkish bath. Guests can enjoy the beneficial effects of medicinal radon water and sulfur-containing thermal water year-round under modern conditions. In the northern part of the thermal bath, you'll find mainly thermal water and quieter bathing functions, while the southern part offers a child-friendly way of bathing, inviting younger visitors.

This thermal bath is located in Eger and is about a 35-minute drive from our campsite. 

This thermal bath is located in a developed area of 5.5 hectares, with 5 outdoor pools (including a children's pool) and one indoor pool. It has been renovated in recent years, with improvements to the pools, parking lot, main entrance, (free) parking area, and changing rooms. In addition to the pools, beautifully maintained, cozy resting spots have been created, surrounded by trees and shrubs. Free sunbeds are available, where you can pick your own spot on the large grounds with plenty of shade for the hot days. On Fridays, the bath is open until 10:00 PM, so you can enjoy a relaxing bath after dinner. The indoor pool and saunas are only available during the autumn and winter months.
