Hungary is the undiscovered gem of Europe, as there is so much more beauty to see than just the wonderfully beautiful city of Budapest. The country is full of beautiful ancient cities. It also has a rich history, something that you can still see today in the culture.\n

Gelej is a quiet village with around 700 inhabitants. After taking exit 139 on the M3 (E71) motorway, it's still a 6 km drive to the campsite. In the village, you'll find, among other things, the Reformed Church and authentic wine cellars. The village also borders the Borsodi-Mez\u0151s\u00e9g Landscape Protection Area (national park).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Mez\u0151k\u00f6vesd is located at the foot of the B\u00fckk Mountains and lies on the border between the mountains and the great plains. It is known for the Maty\u00f3 folk costume and embroidery art. In this town, you can still find the typical old buildings from this era.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Eger is a historical city that is not well known to most holidaymakers. The city is located in the valley between the M\u00e1tra Mountains and the B\u00fckk Mountains. In Eger, you'll find a castle, thermal baths, and other historical buildings. You can also taste Hungary's most famous red wine, Egri Bikav\u00e9r (Bull's Blood of Eger). In Eger, you\u2019ll step back in time, and it's definitely worth a visit, just a 30-minute drive from the campsite. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Budapest is the capital of Hungary and is also known as the \"Paris of the East.\" Anyone coming to Hungary and staying at the campsite should definitely not forget to visit this city. It\u2019s just a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from the campsite to the center of the city. Here, you can leisurely stroll through the streets. This is an excellent way to explore the city with its many beautiful buildings.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
