Die Stadt liegt im Tal zwischen dem M\u00e1tra-Gebirge und dem B\u00fckk-Gebirge. In Eger gibt es eine Burg, Thermalb\u00e4der und andere historische Geb\u00e4ude. Unter der F\u00fchrung von Istv\u00e1n Dob\u00f3 wurden die Angriffe erfolgreich abgewehrt. Dar\u00fcber wurde ein Buch ver\u00f6ffentlicht, Egri Csillagok (Die Sterne von Eger).
